Cookie Policy
How we use cookies on the Amari Care Services website and your options for managing them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They serve various purposes: remembering your preferences, keeping you logged in, understanding how you use the site, and improving your experience. Every time you revisit the site, your browser sends the cookie back to the website, allowing it to recognise you.
Cookies are not programs and cannot install malware. They cannot read information on your device beyond what the website set. They’re a standard part of how the internet works, and most websites use them.
Types of cookies we use
We use cookies in three main categories:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function. They allow you to browse the site, access secure areas, and use features like contact forms. Without strictly necessary cookies, the website wouldn’t work properly. You cannot opt out of these cookies, but you don’t need to—they don’t track you or sell your data.
Examples include WordPress session cookies that keep you logged in to any account you create, and security tokens that protect against attacks.
Analytical and Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how people use the Amari Care Services website. They tell us which pages are visited most, how long people spend on pages, whether they’re returning visitors, and where they come from. This helps us improve the website—making it faster, more intuitive, and more useful. These cookies do not identify you personally; they collect anonymous data in aggregate.
We use Burst Statistics for this purpose, which is GDPR-compliant and doesn’t require consent (it’s privacy-first analytics).
Functionality Cookies
These cookies remember choices you’ve made on the site—language preferences, text size, theme (dark/light mode), or whether you’ve accepted cookies. They enhance your browsing experience by personalising the site to your preferences. They don’t track you across other websites.
Cookie consent and your choices
When you first visit the Amari Care Services website, you’ll see a cookie banner asking you to consent to non-essential cookies (analytical and functionality cookies). Strictly necessary cookies are used automatically because the site cannot function without them.
We use Complianz, a GDPR-compliant cookie consent platform, to manage your preferences. You can:
• Accept all cookies by clicking “Accept All”
• Reject non-essential cookies by clicking “Reject”
• Choose which categories you’d like to allow by opening the consent settings and toggling each category on or off
• Change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the website footer
Your consent choice is remembered using a cookie so we don’t ask you every time you visit. You can withdraw consent or change your preferences at any time.

How to manage cookies in your browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through settings. You can:
• Allow all cookies
• Block all cookies (this may break some websites)
• Block third-party cookies only
• Delete cookies from specific sites
• Be prompted each time a cookie is about to be set
For instructions on how to manage cookies in your browser, visit the browser’s help page:
• Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
• Firefox: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies
• Safari: support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471
• Edge: support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/windows-10/delete-cookies-in-edge
Note: Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the website from working properly (e.g., you may not be able to submit forms or stay logged in).
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” feature. Amari Care Services respects Do Not Track signals where technically feasible. However, we cannot guarantee that all third-party services we may work with in future will respect these signals.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, regulations, or other factors. We’ll post the updated policy on this page with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy occasionally to stay informed about how we use cookies.
