Our Story
Ten Years of Caring for the Lowestoft Community
Amari Care Services opened its doors on Riverside Road in 2015, at a time when families in Lowestoft had limited options for home care. Stef Clark RMN, a Registered Mental Health Nurse, built the service from the ground up with a clear principle: every person deserves care that treats them as an individual, not a schedule slot.
That principle has guided us as the team grew from a handful of carers to 40 trained staff covering Oulton Broad, Kirkley, Carlton Colville, Pakefield, Gunton and beyond. Being nurse-led means clinical oversight is part of our everyday operation, not something we call in when things get complicated. Our carers are supervised by someone who understands medication management, complex health conditions, and the subtle changes that can signal a client needs more support.
In May 2025, the work of our team contributed to Aggregatis Healthcare Ltd — our parent company — being named one of the Top 20 Small Home Care Groups in the United Kingdom by homecare.co.uk.
“This recognition honours the compassion, dedication and professionalism of our frontline teams, who support people at home with dignity, warmth and respect.”

What Sets Us Apart
The Difference Nurse-Led Care Makes in Practice
Many home care companies are managed by experienced administrators. Amari Care Services is managed by a Registered Mental Health Nurse. That distinction matters most when a client’s needs are changing — when someone living with dementia starts showing new behaviours, when medication side effects need monitoring, or when a family needs guidance on what the next stage of their parent’s condition might look like.
Our proximity to James Paget University Hospital means we work closely with discharge teams when clients return home after a hospital stay. Families across Oulton Broad, Kirkley, Carlton Colville, Pakefield, Gunton know that when their parent comes home, our team is ready with a care plan that reflects what actually happened on the ward, not just what was written on a generic discharge summary.
The CQC has rated Amari Care Services as Good across all inspection categories (registration: 1-1999650632). You can read more about our approach on our about page, or explore the full range of care services we provide in Lowestoft.
